British outlet, The Sun, reports that one of the footballers, aged 19, was questioned by police officers on allegations of aiding and abetting a rape. After a brief interrogations, the player was allowed to leave the stadium, before he was formally arrested, spending the night behind bars. The following day, the report says, his teammate, who is also 19, was arrested and grilled on allegations of rape. The duo has since been freed on bail pending further investigations. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the alleged rape occured on Friday, April 19 night.
